About the tour
Explore some of Java’s most breathtaking natural landscapes. Start in the morning with a scenic 2 hours drive in a private car from from Malang to the stunning Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls, where water plunges 120 meters into a lush valley surrounded by rainforest. Take in the views and capture some beautiful photos. Next, a minibus will take you to Cemoro Lawang, a village at the foot of Mount Bromo. You’ll spend the night in a basic accommodation. A jeep will pick you up around 04:00 AM for a sunrise tour with panoramic views of Bromo and the volcanic landscape. After this you’ll descend into the crater to explore the lunar-like terrain and walk to the crater’s edge. Next day, your journey continues to Kawah Ijen where you starts with a 3 kilometer hike to the top of the crater. You’ll descend 1 kilometer into the crater to witness the blue fire and see miners carrying heavy sulfur blocks. After the hike, head back to your accommodation for a well-deserved breakfast and time to pack.

Horse rides across the sand sea are not included. It cost around IDR 75.000 per person for one way trip.
