Bromo, Ijen, Bali

This tour offers a perfect blend of natural wonders. Begin your adventure with a beautiful sunrise over Mount Bromo’s volcanic crater, followed by a trek to witness the mesmerizing blue flames at Ijen volcano. Delve into the daily lives of local sulfur miners at Kawah Ijen before heading to Bali.

Day 1

The Mount Bromo Volcano is situated in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park and stands at an elevation of 2,329 meters above sea level. Your adventure begins with a private car picking you up in Probolingo. You’ll then be driven to Cemoro Lawang to spend the evening in Lava View Lodge.

Day 2

At around 04.00, a jeep will bring you to the sunrise viewpoint. If the weather permits, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the sunrise at approximately 05.00. After taking some photos, the jeep will drive you to the parking area, bypassing the scenic slope of Mount Bromo along the route. From there, you can walk or ride a horse across the Sea of Sand until you reach the stairs (about 250 steps) leading to the summit of Mount Bromo, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the crater. After exploring the crater, around 07.30, you will return to your accommodation for breakfast and packing. Then, a private car will bring you back to Banyuwangi. After approximately 7 hours of travel, you will arrive in Banyuwangi. The driver will take you to a Riverside Homestay near Kawah Ijen, where you can rest before beginning the hike.

Day 3

The Ijen Blue Fire Tour offers an opportunity to witness the mesmerizing sight of blue flames emanating from the crater of the Ijen volcano. At 00.30, the car will pick you up again and transport you to the Paltudingpost basecamp, where your trek will start around 02.30. Initially, you will hike uphill for 3 kilometers, followed by a descent of 1 kilometer to reach the crater. Along the way, you can observe sulfur miners at work, providing insight into the challenging lives of the locals. Upon reaching the base of the volcano, you can explore the blue fire, the lake, and witness the stunning sunrise.

Around 08:00, you will return to your accommodation for breakfast and packing. After this a private car will take you to Ketapang Ferry in Banyuwangi. From here, you will board the ferry to Gilimanuk harbor in Bali. Once you arrive in Bali, the tour ends, and you can arrange your own transportation to any destination within Bali.
